When a Kathy Hayes design for Fox Restaurants was generated, Magnum was called in to make sure the project could be achieved successfully. Kathy’s design called for a rolling curvilinear shade awning to block both horizontal and vertical sunlight. To achieve the design, Kathy digitized photographs of sunlight passing through a series of mulberry trees, took the negatives images and transposed them onto the rolling shade awning. Fabricated and formed out of a series of panels, the awning appears to be one huge undulating piece to the untrained eye. It was truly a genius idea and one that Magnum was thrilled to execute. The new shade awning allows diners to relax peacefully beneath a simulated grove of mulberry trees. It is truly a beautiful design beautifully brought to life by Magnum Companies.
